In order to continue its genocidal campaign with impunity, the Government of Ethiopia is making use of national institutions, such as Ethiopian Airlines, once recognized as a leading African Airline. Ethiopian Airlines, like other several government and public institutions in the country, has, in effect, become an extension of the Tigray genocide machinery as it continues to actively and openly transport war materials and personnel, playing the role of the defense establishment, in total disregard of the safety of its own passengers, its own crew and in violation of international aviation laws.
Through this petition, we are appealing to CHUBB Insurance Group, Swiss Re Group, and AircraftLeasing Companies to intervene and demand that the Ethiopian Airline stop the practice of transporting military equipment and personnel to Tigray on behalf of the Ethiopian government.
